As a Digital Marketing Strategist at Locus Technologies, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, generate leads, and drive customer engagement. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our online presence and leveraging digital channels to achieve our business objectives.

You will develop web marketing strategy and positioning, define key messages, create compelling content, and work this content through key channels, including social media, websites, interactive campaigns, PR, events, sales teams, and partners. The position goals include creating an integrated marketing plan that drives demand by creating leads, generating a pipeline, and driving leadership. You will create awareness for Locus Technologies SaaS solutions for climate change, water, sustainability, and ESG reporting to enterprise customers. As a director, you will build a strong marketing team to help you execute your plan, all within the approved budget.

You will represent the company online and in person. You will work with the brightest minds in the EHS/ESG software industry across our product lines and marketing disciplines to integrate Locus Technologies’ messaging into campaigns and events. You will work closely with the product management, and customer success functions to gain a deep knowledge of the product, customers, and business issues.
You will share best practices with the Locus management team and be responsible for ensuring tight alignment and integration with the sales team. This role is critical to the business’s success as the marketing pipeline will directly impact the enterprise revenue number.

You will manage Analyst Relationship and insure that Locus get the leading analysts coverage.

This is a cross-functional role that requires strong collaboration skills as you will work with the inside and outside sales teams, systems engineers, marketing operations team, customer reference program team and the partner organization to grow our SaaS business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement digital marketing strategies aligned with company objectives, target audience, and industry trends.
  • Content Creation and Management: Create engaging and relevant content for various digital platforms including websites, blogs, social media, and email campaigns. Manage content calendars and ensure consistency in messaging across channels.
  • SEO and SEM Optimization: Optimize website content and structure for search engines (SEO) to improve organic visibility. Manage paid search campaigns (SEM) to maximize ROI and drive targeted traffic.
  • Social Media Management: Develop and execute social media strategies to build brand awareness, increase followership, and foster community engagement. Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and manage online reputation.
  • Email Marketing: Plan and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, promote products/services, and drive conversions. Monitor email performance metrics and optimize campaigns for better results.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize web analytics tools to track and analyze digital marketing performance metrics. Generate reports and insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Digital Advertising: Plan, execute, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across various platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Facebook Ads. Monitor budget allocation and performance to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and design to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business goals. Collaborate with external agencies and vendors as needed.
  • Develop go-to-market strategy, messaging, and positioning.
  • Create and drive integrated marketing strategy for Locus climate change, water, and EHS/ESG SaaS applications including customer acquisition and cross sell programs
  • Create customer facing content including web content, videos, and decks.
  • Research analysts’ management.
  • Play consultative role to sales leadership team.

Professional Experience/Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., Google Ads, HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in digital marketing roles with a focus on strategy development and execution.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, tactics, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SEO/SEM, social media management, email marketing, and digital advertising platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and optimize campaigns for performance.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content and engage with diverse audiences.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Follows and develops work plans and HASPs
  • Conducts field work including groundwater monitoring/remediation, indoor air and soil gas sampling, and assisting with mitigation system installation
  • Coordinates with laboratories, drillers, vendors and subcontractors
  • Conducts and leads analytical tasks such as field mapping, preparing tables, and charts using software reporting tools.
  • Evaluates and interprets field and sampling results, contributes to monitoring and evaluation reports
  • Uses in-house proprietary database software
  • Quality assurance and quality control of data

Requirements
