As April 11th approaches, we at Locus are thrilled to commemorate a significant milestone in our company’s history: our 27th anniversary. Since our founding in Silicon Valley, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to revolutionizing environmental and sustainability management, and this anniversary serves as a testament to our longevity, innovation, and dedication to our customers and employees. 

In 1999, Locus launched the world’s first commercial EHS compliance and water quality management Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. Our software has been ahead of the curve for a quarter century in helping organizations manage their EHS compliance, water, and sustainability and turn their data into a competitive advantage in their operating models and ESG scoring. 

Our work at Locus has evolved over time to encompass more and more aspects of business strategic planning. While a critical incentive to using Locus SaaS is regulatory compliance, Locus has taken a more comprehensive view of the mandate to improve environmental stewardship by creating systems to improve EHS+S performance across our clients’ organizational silos; regulatory programs; emission sources; energy management; water management, all aspects of EHS and risk, ESG reporting, and technology platforms and mobile devices. We unified complex EHS Compliance and ESG reporting in a single Locus Platform.

Our multitenant SaaS platform is renowned for its scalability and configurability, empowering organizations of all sizes to efficiently streamline their environmental, health, safety, and sustainability operations.

In addition to success with our award-winning software, we continue to provide world-class consulting services related to complex environmental issues in Silicon Valley, from groundwater and air contamination to verification services under the California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006 [Assembly Bill 32 (AB 32)], which created a comprehensive, multi-year program to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in California. We expanded this program to several other states, giving us tremendous insights and domain expertise that we embedded in our ESG software apps.
