Position Details

Locus is looking for a solid mid-level software product developer with experience in J2EE-based software product development. You will be involved in building innovative and state-of-the-art SaaS business applications and services.

You will be responsible for developing J2EE services and applications that support business transactions, reporting, and analytics for millions to billions of records. You will be developing solutions for our well-established environmental management application and our new platform for defining and rendering business applications in real-time.

You must excel at both working independently and work in a group setting. This is an opportunity to build a world-class commercial, cross-enterprise environmental web application that offers unprecedented performance and ease-of-use in an emerging business area of environmental information management. Must have working experience with the following technologies:

• Hibernate and/or JDBC
• MVC architecture like Spring
• REST
• jQuery and JavaScript
• J2EE application servers
• T-SQL
• Apache Tomcat and Maven
• Windows

SALARY RANGE:
$30,000 to $500,000
