Locus is the leading provider of SaaS (software as a service) solutions. We pioneered SaaS for environmental, sustainability, energy, EHS compliance, and ESG reporting in 1997. We are looking for a Director of Product Marketing with a “hunters” mentality and strong communication, presentation, persuasion, and technical skills to play a part in continuing our strong revenue growth trends. You must be highly skilled in the business transformation of EHS compliance, Cloud Computing, Platform as a Service, SaaS, and IoT.

As a Director of Product Marketing for Locus Technologies, you will tremendously impact the company’s go-to-market strategy. You will develop marketing strategy and positioning, define key messages, create compelling content, and work this content through key channels, including social media, websites, interactive campaigns, PR, events, sales teams, and partners. You will partner successfully with your peers in Sales across the company and develop innovative marketing partnerships. You will earn the respect of senior salespeople and customers and be asked to spend quality time helping close deals and make customers successful. The position goals include creating an integrated marketing plan that drives demand by creating leads, generating a pipeline, and driving leadership. You will create awareness for Locus Technologies SaaS solutions for climate change, water, sustainability, and ESG reporting to enterprise customers. As a director, you will build a strong marketing team to help you execute your plan, all within the approved budget.

You will represent the company online and in person. You will work with the brightest minds in the EHS/ESG software industry across our product lines and marketing disciplines to integrate Locus Technologies’ messaging into campaigns and events. You will work closely with the product management, and customer success functions to gain a deep knowledge of the product, customers, and business issues.
You will share best practices with the Locus management team and be responsible for ensuring tight alignment and integration with the sales team. This role is critical to the business’s success as the marketing pipeline will directly impact the enterprise revenue number.
You will manage Analyst Relationship and ensure that Locus get the leading analysts coverage.

This is a cross-functional role that requires strong collaboration skills as you will work with the inside and outside sales teams, systems engineers, marketing operations team, customer reference program team and the partner organization to grow our SaaS business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop go-to-market strategy, messaging, and positioning.
  • Create and drive integrated marketing strategy for Locus climate change, water, and EHS/ESG SaaS applications including customer acquisition and cross sell programs.
  • Create customer facing content including web content, videos, and decks.
  • Research analysts management.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and product demos at Locus and customer events.
  • Analyze results and provide recommendations to optimize marketing plan based on results.
  • Play consultative role to sales leadership team.
  • Manage several team members directly.
  •  5+ years of experience in product marketing for an internet or enterprise software company.
  • Previous experience in Demand Generation Marketing with a proven track record converting leads to opportunities.
  • Previous roles as a Marketing Director.
  • Previous experience in Research Analysts relationship management.
  • Previous experience working in the enterprise and SaaS marketing.
  • Digital marketing expertise desired (SEM, online media, website experience, social media).
  • Strong communicator; high energy; highly productive and strong initiative.
  • High energy, charismatic, innovative, creative.
  •  Stellar public speaking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative products in enterprise SaaS.
