What is eAsset?

eAsset is a web based application to manage equipment and assets for single or multiple sites. Assets can be just about anything - including tanks, sumps, outfalls, roofs, paint booths, vehicles, or any type of facility or site equipment, including machinery, wells, pumps, etc. eAsset lets users track important data or information about each asset and create activities for each asset or track the performance of an asset. For example, users can set up an asset called "Tanks" and specify what key information or attributes they want to track - such as manufacturer, material, location, construction type, inspection date or any other attribute of the tank they want to track. Users can also create "activities" for each asset and track the results of the activities. For example, users can assign the activity of "Measurement" for an asset of a well and then assign attributes to the activity to allow them to track things like flow rates, operation status, fluid levels or temperatures then produce charts and reports from these data. eAsset lets site owners self-configure the application and produce reports on what is important to them.

Like many other Locus applications, eAsset interacts symbiotically with EIM, ePortal, and eTask to provide an enterprise solution to your operation and maintenance (O&M) needs. Users can add new assets any time they need, and create and assign a customized list of attributes for that asset. Once assets are built, then activities can be assigned to the attribute. These activities can also be customized to allow for measurements, observations, tests, data collection, and maintenance.

How Does it Work?

eAsset is offered on-demand over the web individually or as an integrated part of the Locus ePortal environmental management solution. eAsset includes user access privilege levels to give companies control over who can add or delete assets and activities. Users have the option to upload data one measurement at a time or through a bulk upload utility using a variety of file formats including Excel based formats. eAsset can be used to track the performance of your remediation system through regular reporting and plotting. Once setup, users can easily see remediation and O&M data across one site or a portfolio of sites.

Additionally, compliance activities and inspections can be tracked through eAsset to track performance against permit requirements. To schedule these compliance tasks eAsset can be linked to eTask to setup reminders and tasks for your assets.

The strength of eAsset is its ability to take operational data and create rollup reports and graphics. Data can viewed spatially in Google maps, in plots, custom queries, or standard reports.
